The new PFClean turnkey systems and new PFClean integration with FilmLight's Baselight and Avid's Media Composer were the talk of the show, at this year's IBC.

IBC saw the first public showing of our new PFClean turnkey systems providing users with a unique hardware accelerated platform for DI and Restoration work flows. The appliance approach means users get a great 'out of the box' experience with a fully tuned system running our market leading application. Both the new Video System, designed for SD and HD and the Film System, designed for 2K and 4K projects were on display. These provide a perfect platform for those with demanding schedules who require a cost effective and comprehensive solution.

We also showed new PFClean/Baselight integration on the Filmlight stand. This unique workflow allows footage to be graded in Baselight while simultaneously being restored in PFClean. This is achieved by PFClean directly accessing a Baselight job in order for PFClean to be automatically populated with the clips contained within that job. These clips can then be cleaned up and restored in PFClean while they are simultaneously graded in Baselight. Upon completion of cleanup, PFClean updates the Baselight job to pick up the restored footage - a process which is achieved without any loss of grading data.
