Stereo Auto Track

Usage  |  Controls

The Stereo Auto Track node can be used to automatically generate trackers to use for stereo camera or object solving, and has two inputs, corresponding to the left and right-eye stereo clips, and two outputs.

Usage

As points are tracked by the Stereo Auto Track node in the left-eye clip, they are automatically transferred between the left and right-eye clips.

Controls and parameters in the Stereo Auto Track node are described in the documentation for the Auto Track node, so please refer to that section for further details.

Controls

The controls specific to the Stereo Auto Track node are:

Current clip: The clip (corresponding to the left or right eye clip) that is displayed in the Cinema window.

Stereo search: The width and height of the stereo search range that is used to transfer each tracking point from the left to the right-eye clip.

Stereo edit: When enabled, any manual adjustment to a tracker position will trigger an automatic transfer of the tracker into the other stereo clip. Manual adjustments to a tracker can be made from inside the tracking window, or by clicking and dragging a tracker in the Cinema window with the left mouse button.

Preview Track: When enabled, the preview points are automatically matched between the left and right eye clips. This match is shown as a blue line for each tracking point.

Show Windows: When enabled, the stereo search range will be displayed in blue around the current cursor position along with the tracking window and standard search range.

Show Stereo: When enabled, the stereo offset (i.e. the tracker motion between the left and right-eye clips) will be displayed for each tracker in the Cinema window as a blue line.
