I'm experimenting in Discovery mode, and either after a program crash or a shutdown I can't open previous projects anymore. The error message is:
"Projects created in Discovery mode can only be opened on the computer where they were created.
This computer has a different hardware identifier and cannot open this project."
This is on a Macbook Pro, Mac OS 15.1 (24B83). Just to clarify of course I'm using the same computer but it already did this three times and I had to start over from scratch.
Thank you
Laszlo
Thank you, looks like this was the problem. At least I was able to recover the projects by reconnecting to the same wifi network!
Hi Laszlo, If you see this message it probably means the MAC address of your network interface has changed since you created the project. MAC addresses are normally tied to the hardware addresses for your network cards (for example, the ethernet or wifi in your macbook) and do not change, but on a Macbook you may be configured to use a rotating address instead. If your Macbook is on Wifi, and you have private wifi enabled, make sure you are also set to use a fixed address instead of a rotating one.
