I'm interested in how to work with a grid in PFTrack. You write that PFTrack does a good job even with anamorphic lenses. However, I can only add one video or one frame. I wanted to use this tutorial, but I couldn't find how to apply it to my data. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVXqJNFzpoo&t=595s
I took a series of shots on an Alexa 35 with an anamorphic lens and recorded a series of images with different focal lengths. But I don't understand how to use this data in PFTrack. I have not found where to enter the focusing distance, although anamorphic lenses breathe, and this is important to consider.
Hello Poll,
PFTrack handles lens breathing separately from grid calibration, and it's accounted for during the refinement pass in the camera solver node. If you'd like to pre-calibrate the breathing by focus distance instead then it's certainly something we can look at integrating in the future. Would you be able to upload any example data you have?
