The Pixel Farm adds offline licence borrowing to PFTrack Studio

The Pixel Farm has released PFTrack Studio 26.11.05. Studios can now borrow a floating licence for up to 14 days of offline use on a single computer.
PFTrack Studio is the online-licensed edition of PFTrack for production teams, with licences shared across a studio's authorised workstations. Until now, every Studio workstation needed an internet connection to run. Borrowing removes that requirement for work on set, on location and on restricted networks. Control stays with the studio: borrowing is off until an Account Owner turns it on for a computer, and a borrowed licence is unavailable to anyone else until it comes back.
The release continues the changes to how PFTrack is licensed and bought that began with PFTrack Solo 26.09.30 in September. PFTrack Enterprise remains the edition for permanently offline and air-gapped facilities, licensed through a local PFBucket Server.
"Studio teams increasingly work away from the facility. Borrowing lets them take PFTrack with them without giving up the control a floating licence gives the studio."
